way too stretchy

I never write product reviews, but I regretfully bought 3 of these and just want to echo reviews on how stretchy this fabric is… and how frustrating it can be. I wanted to love these and was so excited because the colors are gorgeous. When they arrived, I loved the softness straight away. But the stretch (and therefore fit) is so incredibly disappointing. I ordered based on the chart, but they end up being so big so quickly, because of how much they stretch and do not bounce back… leaving very little support. Feels like you’re not even wearing a bra, nursing pads won’t stay in place at night, and if you have to wear collector cups while nursing, they hardly stay put and stretch the bra out even more. I’m so sad I couldn’t love these… I thought I was going to live in them!

I went into this order expecting the bra to not fit because every other nursing bras claiming to fit plus sized has been weirdly fabricated and uncomfortable or outright too small. The French Terry Racerback is comfortable both in fit and in the fabric. I ordered it in grey & black and will most likely purchase a few more once my baby arrives. I hate wearing bras, especially to bed, but these I can actually sleep in!

Not for Bigger Gals!

If your boobs are even remotely uneven or above a B cup, don’t buy! This bra offers no support, leaving lactating nipples all over the place, both day and night, but you’re guarentee to make a mess in your bed - even with lactation pads! I wish I would’ve stuck with more traditional bras from KB.

Hi Laura! Our French Terry Bra doesn't have inner pockets. You may want to check our Organic Cotton Bra which has the same crossover design, but has inner pockets to insert breast pads in.

Sometimes bras that don't have adjustable straps ride up high on me. I think my breasts sit lower on my chest than 'average'. Is riding up a problem some women have? And could you tell me about how long the straps are for the large size please? Thank you.

Hi Alice, thank you for reaching out. The Lilac French Terry Racerback bra is on final sale and is only available in XS, XS- Busty and S. However, we have other colors for the French Terry Racerback bra that are available in all sizes. :)

I’ve had other brands of similar pull-to-side to nurse style sleep bras. While those were very comfortable to sleep, the seams always seemed to feel like they were maybe too tight WHILE side lying nursing (or even sitting) when pulled to the outside of my breast. I was always worried it might contribute to clogged duct or mastitis. How will this one feel? I’m 32 around and busty (pre-pregnancy 32DD, during pregnancy 32F/G and anticipate early nursing size to be at least that large until milk settles down).

Hi Lindsay, the French Terry Bra is made of our softest, most stretchable fabric. Based on feedback, moms don't have any issues with discomfort or difficulty pulling down the cup seams when side-lying or nursing. I would recommend sending us your under bust and fullest bust measurements so we can help find the best fit for this bra. If you're particularly concerned with clogged ducts or mastitis, sizing up may also be an option. We look forward to hearing from you!
