Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays, and while everything will be a little different this year, I can’t wait to spend some quality time with my two boys.
I love seeing the world through their eyes. They’re always so full of curiosity, joy, and wonder, and they remind me to slow down, to really see the world around me, and to appreciate everything.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed or anxious, I take a moment to focus on what I’m grateful for, and of course at the top of my list is my family: my husband, our sons, and all of our loved ones far and near.
I’m grateful for flashlight tag, making new memories, and the magic of laughter.
I’m grateful for the technology that allows us to stay connected - especially when we’re not able to see each other in person.
I’m grateful for the silly moments, the serious moments, and everything in between.
I’m grateful for pumpkin pie and warm apple cider.
And I’m so grateful for you.
No matter what your Thanksgiving looks like this year, I hope your day is filled with love, and that you find a few quiet moments to feel grateful for yourself and how amazing you are.
Happy Thanksgiving,
