There's something fabulous about the ritual of celebrating birthdays! Birthdays give us a chance to look back on the year, remembering the ups and downs and everything in between. Especially with kids, birthdays and milestones come so quickly, each one with alarming speed. I remember saying about my first, "I can't believe he's three months old already.” I said the same thing at six months, a year, two years, three years, and last month, seven years.

Birthdays are a chance to relish all the changes that have happened in the past 365 days - changes we’re often too busy to stop and notice - as well as the changes from year to year. Comparing birthday party photos from one year to another is a treasured pastime, as I remember what each year's celebration looked like. I still remember when my first turned three; a little bit of me felt sad that I didn't have a two-year-old anymore! Early that morning, I sat with him on the couch, as soon as he bounced out of bed - with his curly (still uncut) little boy hair - and savored all that the day would bring. Since we can't hold back time (and we all want to hold onto certain moments), the next best thing is to relish the celebrations that mark the passage of time - like anniversaries and birthdays.

Celebrating the milestone of my company turning three is so unreal for me - time flies by, just as it does when raising babies! I'm deeply grateful for everyone in the Kindred Bravely community - from my fabulous husband, who has been on the journey with me all three years, to our creative and supportive team working behind the scenes to deliver comfort and community, to every mother with whom we've connected!

I am constantly awed by the stories of bravery I hear every week from customers; your courage, kindness, and generosity touch our hearts, and we are privileged to be part of your lives.
