Dear Moms,
You’re doing a wonderful job.
It may not always feel like you are, but I know you’re doing your best.
You’re persevering.
You may be exhausted and frustrated; you may be at your wit's end. You may even wonder if you can make it through the next five minutes.
I’ve been there.
Some days all you can do is count down the hours, minutes, and seconds until naptime or bedtime.
And that’s okay.
Don’t stress about making macaroni and cheese three days (or meals) in a row.
Give yourself a break for getting store-bought cupcakes instead of creating an epic, multi-layer masterpiece from scratch.
Try not to be so hard on yourself for struggling to balance work and family.
My wish for you today is that you find a moment to revel in the small things. From your newborn’s first smile to the small flower your toddler gives you, from pig piles and tickle fights to bedtime snuggles and goodnight kisses, I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and the happiest of memories.
And remember…
You are the right mom for your child.
You are good enough; you are fun enough; you are smart enough.
You are enough.
I believe in you.
Be you bravely,
Deeanne
